Heritage Heights was the result of a vision had by members of Bethel Tabernacle back in the late 70’s/early 80’s, to have a residence built which would offer comfortable, affordable accommodation for Seniors. The property for the complex was donated by Bethel; a Society was incorporated in December 8, 1980, to administer the construction and operation of the project, and construction began the same year, with the sod turning conducted by MLA Don Phillips on May 1, 1981. Construction was completed in 1982, and the official opening held on March 20, 1982.
